2007-2011:  California Virtual Academies offered trainings monthly at the all school virtual meetings.  The topics varied, but related directly to teaching virtually and school specific websites and requirements.
 2009:  During my time working for the California Virtual Academies I attended numerous virtual trainings given through the K12 Teacher Effectiveness Division.  Many topics were covered such as teacher effectiveness, developing student achievement, creating a traditional classroom virtually, leveraging your resources, how to assess student achievement, delivering online real time assessment, and concept mapping.

2001-2002:  BITSA seminars on classroom management, project based learning, and different approaches to teaching Middle School English and Social Studies.

SCHOOL COMMITTEES and DUTIES:

At ACMS I was a member of the Social Club.

During my time at Silver Lake Elementary School on the 2014-2015 school year I served on the Positive Behavior Support team (PBIS).  For the 2015-2016 school year I served on the Garden Committee and the Parent Engagement/ APTT committee.

During my time at Lake Forest Elementary I was a member of the Student Study Team for three years.  I was a part of the ‘I Love Reading’ week committee, as well as the Sunshine committee.  I was also one of the Nature Bowl coaches for two years.

·         During my time at West Marin Elementary I was in charge of the student council store on-campus, as well as the Mathletes team.
